1. What is Personal Data?

Personal data is defined under KVKK as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Accordingly, information you share with us such as your name, surname, date of birth, ID number, email address, phone number, and similar information is considered personal data. VESA PLATFORM collects your personal data when you share it directly with us, automatically, or through other sources such as third-party platforms.

2. What is the purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data?

VESA PLATFORM collects and processes your personal data to fulfill our legal obligations and to inform you about campaigns and offers due to your product and service relationship with VESA PLATFORM.
Accordingly, VESA PLATFORM collects and processes your personal data to evaluate and handle complaints, process payments, improve our products, services, communication methods, and website functionality, and to provide you with personalized products, communication content, targeted advertisements, and product recommendations. Within the scope of the purposes mentioned above, VESA PLATFORM processes and stores your personal data based on your explicit consent, or if directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract with you, or in cases where legitimate interests require it, without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms.

3. For what purposes and to whom do we transfer your personal data?

Your personal data may be shared with VESA PLATFORM shareholders, our domestic/foreign subsidiaries, domestic/foreign individuals and institutions collaborating with us as business partners to represent us and/or carry out our operations (such as companies providing cargo, delivery, call center, database, cloud services). Additionally, personal data may be shared with courts and other public institutions to the extent required by law. VESA PLATFORM may also share personal and traffic data regarding your visit to our websites with public institutions legally authorized to request such data for security and regulatory compliance purposes.

4. How do we store your personal data?

Your personal data shared with our company is stored on VESA PLATFORM’s secure domestic/foreign servers in accordance with applicable laws, KVKK provisions, and VESA PLATFORM standards. VESA PLATFORM takes necessary technical and administrative security measures determined by law to ensure the security of your personal data.
5. How long do we retain your personal data?

Pursuant to Article 7/f.1 of KVKK, once the purpose requiring the processing of your personal data ceases and/or the legally mandated retention period expires, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by us.

6. What are your rights under the Personal Data Protection Law? Under Article 11 of KVKK, to the extent your personal data is processed by VESA PLATFORM as the data controller; within the framework of KVKK and other applicable legislation;

• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,

• To know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom your personal data has been transferred,

• To request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,

• To request deletion or destruction of your personal data under conditions prescribed by KVKK,

• To request notification of third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred in case of correction, deletion, or destruction,

• To object to a result that may negatively affect you through the analysis of processed data solely by automated systems,

• To request compensation in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
You can submit your requests regarding the exercise of these rights in writing or through a method determined separately by the Personal Data Protection Board.
